A Magazine Curated By Erdem N°24 is curated by British-Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu, exploring themes of duality, gender, and history through a cross-cultural lens. The issue bridges past and present, featuring figures like Virginia Woolf, Marlene Dietrich, and Derek Jarman alongside contemporary image-makers such as Ethan James Green, Campbell Addy, and William Waterworth.
Erdem reflects on identity, mirroring, and queerness through references to Orlando, The Yellow Book, and After Dark. Personal contributions include interviews with Glenn Close, Sally Potter, and Roni Horn, as well as Erdem’s own portraits of friends, family, muses, and Royal Ballet dancers.
Dedicated to his late mother, the issue also includes a conversation between his sister Sara and artist Kaye Donachie, plus a cyanotype study of tulips by Thomas Persson and Annemarieke van Drimmelen. Vibrant and intimate, N°24 is a celebration of fashion, art, cinema, and queer culture through Erdem’s elegant, reflective eye.
